Aston Kauai Beach at Makaiwa is situated on 10 beachfront acres, amid a coconut grove that dates back almost a century. With adventure to the left and enchantment to the right, the resort is centrally located on the island of Kauai. With two meeting and banquet facilities, the resort is ideal for hosting group meetings, wedding receptions and other banquet functions.

At this beachfront hotel, two-thirds of the 311 rooms gaze upon the Pacific Ocean. Rooms are richly dressed in distinct Polynesian designs and touches of dark tropical wood tones in furniture and shuttered doors that open to a private lanai (balcony). Aston Kauai Beach at Makaiwa charges a daily Resort Fee of US $12.00 per day plus tax per room (collected directly from guests), which provides guests with the following complimentary amenities at no additional cost:

DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY

Reservation must be cancelled within the allotted time to avoid charges.
You may cancel up to 3 days prior to arrival for any arrivals between Jan 2 - Dec 23 on Kauai. For the year-end period you may cancel up to 30 days prior between Dec 24 on Kauai and Jan 2. If a reservation is not cancelled prior to the cancellation deadline, the 2-night deposit will be forfeited. See below under "Deposit Guarantee" section for more information.

A reservation that was not honored will result in a no-show charge, and either the advance deposit will be forfeited or the credit card will be assessed a cancellation charge.

Cancellations due to an exceptional circumstance, i.e. hurricane, earthquake, airport closure due to strong weather conditions, strike, war or other reasons of a like nature, will not be charged a cancellation fee. Under such circumstances a directive from the Corporate Office will authorize a cancellation fee waiver without penalty.

DEPOSIT GUARANTEE
A deposit of 2 nights per room is required to guarantee a reservation

Deposits may be made with the following major credit cards (American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, Japan Credit Bureau (JCB), and Discover Card). Deposits will be charged immediately. Reservations without advance deposits are subject to automatic cancellation without notice.

A 2-night deposit per room is required at the time of booking:

KAUAI: For the period of 1/2/09 - 12/21/11
Deposits may be forfeited if cancellation is not received as follows:

• 3 days prior to arrival for any arrivals on JAN. 02 thru DEC. 23
• 30 days prior to arrival for any arrivals on DEC. 24 thru JAN. 02
